I am a member of the founding family of Gloria — one of Europe's most recognized brands in fire safety. Founded by my grandfather after 1945, Gloria grew into a market leader in portable fire extinguishers: around 600 employees, 50% market share in Germany, 600 independent service partners across Europe, and c.90% name recognition in the sector. The company was sold to Kidde plc, later part of United Technologies. I headed up the sale process and PMI on behalf of the family.

Later, I spent over a decade across fire life safety, security and critical infrastructure — advising on deal origination, strategy, M&A execution and post-acquisition value creation across DACH and Europe. Through decades of family and professional presence in the sector, I have direct access to hundreds of owner-managed businesses — relationships built on trust, not cold outreach.

In 2025, we founded Safety Alliance GmbH — focused on three areas: 

1.) direct investments in owner-managed fire safety and security businesses

2.) strategic and regulatory advisory for international companies entering new markets

3.) portfolio support for investors active in the space.
